$6M Investment and Employment Opportunities for Gason

Development of the new $6 million Laser facility is well and truly underway at Gason.  Once completed, it is hoped that the facility will help to secure manufacturing jobs for the region, provide local employment opportunities, and a boost to the Gason workforce.  

Managing Director, Wayne Gason said that “We are doing our best to provide internal and external training to entice more qualified people into our facility.” 

MKM Constructions have spent weeks on the initial construction of the facility and are now in the process of erecting the framework. Four cranes will be used to assemble the main frame and to lift the roof onto the almost 10m high building.
