Gason apprenticeships

An apprenticeship with Gason is much more than just a qualification!

Fulltime apprenticeships are offered all year round, and each year we run a Boot Camp week for people who want to experience what a welding apprenticeship at Gason is all about. The next Boot Camp will be held from the 4th to 8th of December 2023.

Gason apprenticeships encompass practical hands-on learning delivered by trained and experienced tradespeople, giving you valuable industry experience and a nationally recognised qualification.

Riley Gason

After quickly progressing through his apprenticeship, Riley moved into his current role as Industrial Services Engineer – working with new and existing customers to achieve their engineering goals.

Aedan Bulger

Aedan started his apprenticeship in 2008 and has worked in various positions, leading to his current role as Quality Assurance Manager. Outstanding commitment to the company and leadership during his time as Supervisor and Leading Hand has led Aedan confidently into management.

Hayden Kulac

Hayden is completing his apprenticeship with Gason and is enjoying working with the team. He was selected as the Gason Apprentice of the Year in 2021 and 2022 and was a Finalist in the East Grampians Business Awards Young Person of the Year award in 2022. He has been able to grow his skills and experience by working with the Gason Research and Development team.

Damian Garley

Our Production Manager Damian Garley completed his apprenticeship in 1996 and is now overseeing all personnel and operations within the factory. After working in various roles at Gason and for other companies, Damian took on his current role in senior management.
